Dr. Felicia D. Singletary
Dr. Felicia D. Singletary is a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University where she obtained her undergraduate degree (BS) in Professional Biology. Dr. Singletary immediately went on to obtain her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Upon completion of her dental education, Dr. Singletary decided to enhance her knowledge in the dental field by completing a Hospital Dental Residency Program. She was accepted into the College of Physician and Surgeons of Columbia University at the Harlem Hospital Center where she completed a two (2) year residency program. She served as the Chief Resident during her second year. Because of her superior knowledge, work ethic, and commitment to providing top quality dentistry to her patients, Dr. Singletary was offered and accepted a position to serve as the Dental Director for the Columbia University Community Dent-Care program. She served as an educator to graduate dentists and helped to grow and expand the program to three (3) state of the art facilities in Northern Manhattan, New York. Dr. Singletary served as the Dental Director to all 3 facilities before deciding to move back to the state what was so influential during her formative years.
In 2006 Dr. Singletary opened the Comprehensive Dental Center of North Carolina and is committed to providing top quality dentistry with courtesy and respect to all. She still enjoys teaching young people and has therefore implemented a Dental Assistant Training Program at her facility located in Rocky Mount NC. This program was designed to give career opportunities to young people interested in the field of dentistry.
In her spare time she enjoys bowling, movies and spending time with family and friends.
